My Love for Woodland Photography…
My love for woodland started during a time in my life when it provided a safe canopy, camouflage, space for administration. What feels like a previous life, I spent thirteen years In the 7th Parachute Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery - operating in woodlands gave me an appreciation I didn’t know I had..
After leaving the military, I’ve enjoyed visiting my local woodlands in Worsley, Rivington and National trust breaks. I returned to woodlands with a new purpose, a fresh perspective and a camera! Photography quickly became my relationship with woodland, a connection between me and natures wealth.
Now, after twelve months of woodland photography I’ve decided to showcase some of my work, connect with likeminded people and offer some support to anyone wishing to learn the subtle art of woodland photography.
The majority of my images are on Instagram - my blog will be an honest reflection of my perspective to show you my approach, my high and lows. I intend to collate tips and provide 1-1 woodland workshops so please get in touch if you are interested.
